Dancing with the Make-A-Wish Stars

More than 350 Make-A-Wish friends gathered at St. Cecilia Music Center on May 20 to take part in the Dancing with the Make-A-Wish Stars. This event wowed attendees with spectacular dancing, delicious food, entertainment and auction items. Guests enjoyed a strolling dinner, featuring food donated by local restaurants, and entered to win on one-of-a-kind items featured in the silent auction.
Heartfelt thanks to wish child Matthew and his family for being our guests of honor and to our talented and dedicated celebrities who practiced for months in preparation for this night and put on an amazing evening of dance entertainment. In the end, it was East Grand Rapids Coach, Peter Stursma, who danced his way to the top award!
The event raised much needed funds to help grant heartfelt wishes to many courageous Michigan kids! The Foundation is so thankful to the supporters, sponsors and the West Michigan community for making this event a success!
