UPDATE #1: Regarding Rider Pages/Friendly URLS/Online Donations

In preparation for our Sept 1, 2011 WAM registration all rider pages are in the process of being taken down and friendly URLs are being deleted so that they can be reused for 2011. Also, you will no longer be able to make online donations to event participants but donations can be made by calling 800.622.9474.

It’s hard to believe that WAM 2010 is behind us!

Each Wish-A-Mile Tour is unique with memories that last a lifetime and this year was no exception! It’s incredible to all of us at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan to see the devotion, humor and heart you bring to the tour and into the lives of our wish children and their families.

On and off the route, this tour was filled with dedicated souls. We couldn’t have asked for better partners or gym floor mates!

The rain was a unique factor but the pounding storms felt down state held off for us and of course, the sun shined on our riders, volunteers and Wish Heroes on Sunday.

Funds raised from this incredible event – an event that includes WAM 300, WAM 50 and Heroes Hurrah – are instrumental in changing and enriching the lives of hundreds of children awaiting wishes each year. And with that, the thousands of children you have already touched are able to join us and stay such a loving part of the Make-A-Wish family.

We are already looking forward to WAM 2011 as planning is well underway! We hope to see each and every one of you next year! And remember, we are here to help you throughout the year as you plan, fundraise and recruit those new riders and supporters!
