Heroes Hurrah!

Heroes Hurrah is the ending celebration for the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Wish-A-Mile (WAM) 300 and Wish-A-Mile 50 Bicycle Tours. It takes place Sunday, July 25th from 11a.m. to 5 p.m.at the Chelsea Fairgrounds in Chelsea, Michigan.
Make-A-Wish will be host to more than 3,000 riders, wish children, families, volunteers and supporters at Heroes Hurrah. When the riders cross the finish line - cheers erupt! A birthday party atmosphere is complete with live entertainment, clowns, bounce houses, a delicious lunch, a kid’s carnival and more.
The crowning jewel of Heroes Hurrah is the touching moments as the 800 riders meet their wish heroes – wish kids they will be riding in honor of – proudly place medals around their necks. This is the reason many of our participants commit to volunteering or riding year after year!
This event would not be possible without the help of all of our wonderful volunteers. We have many fun jobs that need volunteers that day. Here are some examples of fun volunteer jobs that await:

- Food/Beverage

- SAG Vans
