"Bag of Dreams": Help Support Wishes Year-Round!

As part of our wish granting process, volunteers provide a few small gifts to each wish child and their siblings leading up to and on the day of their wish. You can be a part of the fun and anticipation a child experiences when they receive these special gifts by donating items from our wish list. All items should be new and under $20 in value.

Our number one request is...Gift Cards in $10-20 increments!

We give these out to wish kids and their siblings. McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar’s, Dairy Queen, Chuck E Cheese, Blockbuster, I-tunes, Meijer’s, Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Best Buy & GameStop are top favorites!

Please note: to respect the safety and comfort of our wish families, please do not include:

  • Used items, new only please. Please leave items in their original packaging.
  • Sad or scary books, movies or toys
  • Candy, gum or any food items please
  • Items that make references to specific holidays or religions
  • Notes, cards that refer to sickness, sympathy or anything sad (ie: “Sorry You’re Sick!”)

“PIZZA PARTY PACKS”:

Right before a child’s wish trip, we often provide a “Pizza Party Pack” which consists of pizza coupons and other fun items. This makes the evening before the family’s trip more fun and less hectic.

  • Pizza gift cards - Domino’s, Little Caesar’s, Pizza Hut, etc (in $10 or $20 increments)
  • Disposable cameras
  • Colorful tissue paper for packaging

  • New spools of narrow satin or curling gift ribbon, in all colors (for our “wish wands”)
  • Colored tissue paper (for gift boxes)
