There are many ways to ensure the continued mission of granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. The Foundation is always in need of financial and in-kind support. Ways you can make a difference include opportunities such as sponsoring an entire wish through our Adopt A Wish Program, donating in-kind goods that our children are wishing for, or volunteering to be a part of the wish-granting process. These opportunities and more are listed in greater detail below.

 Kids' Club

JOIN OUR NEW KID'S CLUB TO HELP GRANT WISHES!
Did you know that with a $15 per month investment you can provide special souvenirs for children from Walt Disney World? For $25 per month you can cover a child’s favorite meal on their wish? And for $50 per month you can provide accessories for computer or playhouse wishes?

Tribute and Memorial Gifts

Honor loved ones - living and deceased - with a gift that will give hope, strength, and joy to a Make-A-Wish child. By designating your contribution "In Honor" or "In Memory" of a person, notification of the contribution will be sent to a recipient of your choosing. This popular tribute helps make wishes come true while providing a meaningful acknowledgment of your special person. To make a donation, please call 734.994.8620.

Sponsor a Make-A-Wish Event

Become a sponsor for one or more of our annual events and help make dreams come true. Make-A-Wish events provide an opportunity for companies to showcase their support in a highly visible way.

Organize an Event

Join in the fun and plan your own special event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan. The events can be anything from a car wash to a dinner dance to a golf outing. No matter what the event, the Foundation is grateful for this support and recognizes the importance of these fundraisers. Adopt A Wish^®

An exciting program is available with opportunities for individuals, groups, and corporations to financially sponsor (or partially sponsor) wishes. By participating in Adopt A Wish, you can be a special part of our wish magic. Since wishes range from computers to cruises, there are several levels of support available for Adopt A Wish participants. Workplace Giving

Participate in your company's payroll deduction program and designate Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan as the recipient of your donation. Companies have the opportunity to support the Foundation through the workplace by offering this option and/or also matching employee donations. Frequent Flier Miles

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our airline partners and their members, the Make-A-Wish Foundation was able to grant more than 6,500 travel wishes nationally last year. Worldwide, frequent fliers donated hundreds of millions of miles to fulfill travel wishes. We estimate that more than 800 million frequent flier miles will be needed to grant travel wishes this year. Please consider donating miles - you can help make wishes come true!

Endowments

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan Endowment Fund helps ensure that every eligible child receives their most heartfelt wish, both now and in the future.

The term endowment refers to a fund where the gifts received - also known as principal - are invested and only the earnings are spent. The endowment provides a stable source of funding for the Foundation while continuing to grow for future needs.

A gift to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan Endowment Fund is truly a visionary contribution. As Make-A-Wish relies solely on the generosity of philanthropic gifts from individuals, corporations, and groups, this guaranteed funding is vital as it enables the Foundation to better withstand economic downturns, thereby allowing our incredible children to continue receiving unparalleled wishes.

Gifts to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan Endowment Fund can be made in several ways:

• Gifts of cash
• Gifts of readily marketable securities
• Gifts made by including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan in your estate planning
