"Making Magic Mile-by-Mile”

The Make-A-Wish Foundation was honored to be one of the charity partners for the 2007 Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Bank Marathon.  On Sunday, October 21st approximately 16,000 runners and walkers filled the streets of Detroit and Windsor with more than 30 participants who supported Make-A-Wish.  Those participants gave physically, emotionally, and financially as they put their feet to the pavement running as many as 26.2 miles for our wish kids. 

The Make-A-Wish runners were truly running for a reason as stride after stride, step after step they showed their commitment to Making Magic Mile-by-Mile for courageous children across the state.   The Foundation would like to extend our congratulations and thanks to everyone who ran to help make wishes come true!
